Organizational Mission Statement:

Resolution to Join

Our organization (for individuals--"I support") supports the mission of the Montana Smart Growth Coalition to support safe and healthy communities; sustainable economies; conservation of farm, forest and ranch lands; and protection of natural resources and wildlife habitat. Furthermore we (I) fully support the objectives and strategies outlined by the Coalition in its Montana Smart Growth Coalition Statement of Mission, Objectives, and Organizational Guidelines.

The Benefits of Joining a Coalition

We recognize our organization will benefit (for individuals--"I recognize that I will benefit") from joining this coalition and that doing so will enable us (me) to effectively support these objectives by creating a stronger, collective voice and by improving our understanding of each other's issues and concerns and how our objectives intersect. We (I) also recognize the potential to increase financial resources through joint requests for funding and coordination of efforts on these issues with those of others who share these objectives.

The Work of the Coalition

The Montana Smart Growth Coalition is a network of organizations and individuals from across Montana who share a commitment to just, affordable and sustainable communities.
